As the crisp autumn air settles in and Halloween approaches, our fields are bursting with vibrant colour and life. This year’s pumpkin harvest is one of our most exciting yet, as this year we have also added a range of squash to our portfolio. With a diverse range of varieties grown across hundreds of acres, all carefully nurtured from seed to stem.
🌱 From Seed to Celebration
Back in mid-May, we drilled over 2.2 million seeds across our fields, preparing for a spooktacular harvest beginning in mid-September. Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve grown:
- Pumpkins: 10 varieties, planted from 1.6 million seeds
- Squash: 13 varieties, with 180,000 seeds
- Munchkins: 4 varieties, totalling 424,000 seeds
- Total Area Grown: 350 acres
Each variety brings its own unique shape, colour, and character – perfect for carving, decorating, or cooking up autumnal treats.

Alongside our tried and tested crops of pumpkins, squash and munchkins we also run annual trials across the range. These trials help us explore new varieties, improve crop resilience, and ensure we are always offering something fresh and exciting for the season.
