Rooted in Lincolnshire, Growing for the Future
Lincolnshire Field Products (LFP) is one of the UK’s leading independent growers of brassicas, combinable crops, potatoes, and sugar beet. Based in South Lincolnshire, within a 15 mile radius of Spalding.
Our operations benefit from the exceptional land quality in the region, with much of it classified as Grade 1 silt. This nutrient-rich soil allows us to produce high-value crops with outstanding consistency, flexibility, and quality.
Founded in 1997 through a successful management buyout led by Robin Hancox, Aubrey Day and Martin Tate, LFP has grown significantly under their leadership. All three remain actively involved in the business today, overseeing continued expansion and innovation.
We currently farm approximately 6,000 hectares, comprising a mix of owned land, rental agreements, and contract farming partnerships—maximising the potential of South Lincolnshire’s finest soils.
Our Wykeham headquarters is home to a 12,000 square metre, purpose-built production and storage facility. This site includes a state-of-the-art distribution centre and provides a range of value-added services such as flow wrapping, labelling, sorting, catch weighing, and trimming—operating 24/7 to meet the demands of our customers.
In 2011, we expanded with the acquisition of our Whaplode site, now the hub of our farming operations. This 4-hectare site houses our farm offices, a modern workshop for machinery maintenance, advanced potato grading systems, and temperature-controlled storage facilities.
At LFP, we combine decades of agricultural expertise with a forward-thinking approach to deliver consistent quality, responsible farming, and long-term sustainability.
