On Sunday 19 April 2026, our team headed to the Lincolnshire Showground for our first visit to the Countryside Lincs event – and what a day it turned out to be.
From the moment the gates opened, the showground was buzzing with families, young farmers and countryside enthusiasts, and our stand was busy from start to finish.
A Star Attraction: Our Fendt Tractor
One of the biggest highlights on our stand was undoubtedly our Fendt tractor. It proved to be a huge draw throughout the entire day, with queues from morning to afternoon for visitors eager to climb inside the cab, explore the controls and experience what it’s like to sit in one of these impressive machines.
Seeing children and adults alike light up as they took their turn behind the wheel was a real reminder of just how exciting modern agricultural machinery can be.
Inspiring the Next Generation of Growers
Alongside the machinery, we were delighted to welcome so many families to our vegetable planting activity, which was especially popular with younger visitors.
Children were invited to plant their own vegetable to take home, learn a little about how food is grown, and begin their own growing journey. By the end of the day over 350 children had proudly left our stand clutching their very own vegetable plant, ready to grow it in their garden at home. The enthusiasm, curiosity and big smiles made it one of the most rewarding parts of the day for our team.
Say Cheese! Our Vegetable Photo Headboard
Our vegetable photo headboard also proved to be a hit, providing plenty of laughs and photo opportunities throughout the day. It was fantastic to see families stopping to grab a snap and enjoy a light‑hearted moment as part of their visit.
A Busy, Brilliant Day
All in all, it was an extremely busy day, filled with great conversations, smiling faces and a shared appreciation for food, farming and the countryside. Events like Countryside Lincs are a brilliant opportunity to connect with the local community, inspire future growers and showcase what we do.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to see us, took part in our activities and helped make the day such a success. We are already looking forward to the next one!
